Fabulous place - we will have to return during the skiing season
We (4 adults + 2 children under 10) stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The rooms are spacious with fully equipped kitchens. The 2-bedroom room had separate en-suite bathrooms.
Everything is in top condition, including common areas. There is a cozy playroom for children that is filled with toys and games. Our children loved playing - also while the grownups were finishing breakfast in peace and quiet. At breakfast, there were so many different things to choose from - even on days when there are relatively few guests, off-season. The coffee was amazing. The owner is lovely - attentive, patient, helpful and gave us lots of great, tailored advice for rainy days. A fantastic holiday staying in an impeccable hotel. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful, family-owned hotel convenient to ski area
This small hotel sits conveniently next to the Uga lift - getting to the slopes is super-easy. It is family owned - the family lives on site and more than likely the owner will greet you at the front desk.
Staff/owners are extremely pleasant and accommodating; breakfast is excellent, and there is an honor bar with snacks/drinks in the common area on each floor.
Damuls itself is a hidden gem of a ski area - we were tipped off to it by a German friend who recommended it. We have skied all over Europe and the US, and had one of our best ski days ever under sunny skies and super snow conditions in Damuls.
The owners were overly self-critical of their English skills; we gathered that they don't have all that many Anglo- or American guests, but their English was perfectly adequate and communication was easy - not a problem at all.
Rooms are utilitarian - nothing fancy; bathrooms are modern with a nice shower. Linens were nice and cozy. We were comfortable and had no complaint with the room whatsoever.
5 stars for the personal family touch. Would stay there again, and recommend it to others.

Uitstekend hotel!
Uitstekend kleinschalig hotel, in een prachtige (wandel-)omgeving. Moderne, luxe kamer en badkamer. Hotel wordt goed verzorgd en uitstekend schoongehouden Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet met veel keuzemogelijkheden. Zeer vriendelijke en attente eigenaresse Sylke. In het zomerseizoen krijg je bij minimaal drie overnachtingen een ‘Bregenzerwald Gäste Karte’ (gratis gebruik van o.a. kabelbanen en openbaar vervoer in de regio). Een goede prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding. Absolute aanrader!

Skiurlaub bei dem alles paßt
Eine Familienhotel mit ganz tollen, freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Man fühlt sich von der ersten Minute an absolut willkommen. Die Hausherrin kümmert sich um alle Angelegenheiten persönlich und hat stets für alle Probleme ein offenes Ohr.
Das gesamte Haus ist stil- und liebevoll dekoriert. Kein Hotelketteneinheitsbrei!
Die Zimmer sind mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Flachbildfernseher mit diversen Satellitenprogrammen, Safe, Balkon, modernes Bad mit großer Dusche.
Ein gemütlicher Frühstücksraum mit einem Frühstück, bei dem es einem an nichts fehlt.
Im Tiefgeschoss ein kleiner Wellness-Bereich, zu dem ich jedoch nichts sagen kann, da ich ihn nicht genutzt habe. Dazu ein geheizter Skikeller mit separatem Ausgang zum Parkplatz.
Hinzu kommt noch die Lage, weniger als 100 Schritte von der Talstation der Uga-Bahn entfernt. Besser kann es kaum sein.
Insgesamt ein Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, das seinesgleichen sucht.

Thuiskomen in Vorarlberg
Je voelt je meteen thuis bij zo'n warme, behulpzame gastvrouw als Silke. De kamers zijn ruim en netjes en de badkamer is heel groot en op alles voorzien. Het ontbijt is heel lekker en vers en uitgebreid.
