Dreamy time for two

It is always nice to come here again. We were warmly welcomed, the service in the restaurant, at the bar, and at the front desk is always very nice, and we feel very comfortable here. For the first time, we had a room not in the tower, and we liked it very much. We would book again. The rooms were indeed very hot, as we arrived during the warmest time, but in the evening you could ventilate them nicely, and I am glad that the rooms do not have air conditioning. What pleased me most was that the Cloud 7 spa was open daily. This way we could go up every day, not just on Thursday. We didn't have that in the past and had mentioned it, so it's all the nicer that this was changed. We were very pleased. We will definitely be back!

A lot of money for hot air...

After 16 years, I was really looking forward to three days of time off at the Gams and was excited about the many changes that have taken place.
The reception was picture-perfect! (Very friendly and with the Prosecco with gold in it - super!) The anticipation faded, however, when we looked at the really beautiful suite on the top floor, because the heat was intense (there is still no air conditioning and there probably never will be...).
We would never come back in the summer months!!! The toilet and illuminated vanity mirror did not work (batteries dead - which should be checked before guests move in).
The bathroom is a dream. Unfortunately, the shower door creaked so loudly that you were afraid it would break - and the staff knows about it... probably for a long time already).
Despite keeping the balcony door open for hours, it didn't really get any cooler at night (it was at least 26 degrees!) and the small fan on the floor didn't really do anything except make noise. (A ceiling fan over the bed would be more sensible and the bare minimum if there is no air conditioning available).
The breakfast buffet has a sufficient selection and the bread is super delicious. The dinner is good and nicely presented. Large wine selection at reasonable prices.
The spa area has a lot to offer, but two of the steam saunas were definitely set much higher than indicated and this was not changed either.
While we were sitting in the hot tub, we had time to look at the room more closely, and there are damaged spots all over the walls. The metal staircase leading into the large pool is rusting. Most of the hooks for hanging up bathrobes will soon fall off.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is also very weak, which quickly becomes annoying.

Relaxing short vacation

Beautiful room, good service, nice reception, but what pleased me the most is that the pool on the top was always open!

Exceptional

Absolutely perfect welcome. The listing perfectly matches what is offered, the environment of the hotel is even better than we expected. Friendly and professional staff, spacious and secure parking, delicious and hearty meals. Several small attentions. In short, a true moment of relaxation at a price that is certainly not negligible but worth it. To be redone as soon as possible.
