Excellent stay.

We chose the Comfort Inn because it has an EV charger ($15) as well as conveniently central.
We had a room on the ground floor. AC was excellent, which was great, as it was close to 40C on the day we were there. Room was spotless, and bed was comfortable.
The staff (new to the hotel) were very friendly and co-operative. Easy to talk to, and helpful with a couple of questions we had.
Highway noise was minimal, we weren't woken by any traffic.
Even without the EV charger, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Uncomfortable Comfort Inn

The recption staff need to read their online booking requests well before the arrival date and communicate with the guests and not on the day and then be rude about it and blame the guests for not contacting the motel. Very poor and only lead to a very uncomfortable 2 night stay. The facilities are tired and if you wnat to use the Jug, Toaster and Mircrowave you then have to eat with your fingers as they don't provide cultery. There are better accommadation options in Traraglon and this is not one of them. This tired motel might be good for overnight travellers who just want to have a bed for the night, not for long stay.

It's what you'd expect from a motel in a country town

It's well located in Traralgon, a short walk to the main strip. Bed was comfy, there was a fridge in the room and the water in the shower was really hot
But it's motel, so nothing special. Breakfast was very ordinary, no eggs or anything cooked.

Tired, dirty and outdated Motel.

Did not have the room we had booked and paid for (ie booked a twin with two beds and only given a room with one bed), after making a fuss we were offered a second room, which was digusting, half finished. Power points in both rooms dangerous and falling out of the walls. Beds were the worst Ive ever slept on, like they were 50 years old with springs poking out. Was only place available when we booked ... you can see why. Next time I will sleep in my car.

Grumpy Owners

To begin with the location suited our stay, being close to venues we needed to attend. Unfortunately on arrival we did not receive much of a greeting, in fact it was closer to hostility. We had requested two rooms, next to each other on he ground floor (as one of us disabled and the other older people). Our rooms were in fact on different sides of the establishment with one upstairs. And the free continental breakfast also was dependent on the ability to climb stairs.
The toilet was cramped and the roll had to be removed as it wasn't easily accessible when sitting. The biscuits were stale and the fridge had been turned up (in both rooms) to maximum and all our food and drink froze.
I will give them credit for the rooms being clean, but the service was abysmal. We were their for a conference ad many who also stayed at the same hotel had issues with the owners including when initially booking.
