" OVER THE TOP"
was escorted off the premises on Sunday 7/3/26 for not having a $90 wrist band for dropping my wife off for the multiband entertainment. security was Rude, Threatening
and being extremely obnoxious to questions i was asking(i hadn't had a drink and i'm 75). if i was ejected what about the betting room, poker machine area. people betting and playing the pokies with No wrist bands and public bar area. certainly a sheer case of discrimination because he didn't want to answer my questions. What was his name. Who is the manager...... answer your being ejected you don't have a wrist band.
certainly a case for non cooperative staff and overuse of authority. i'm 165cm(68kg)
him maybe 188cm (130kg). that's what you call flexing his authority and intimidation. Bertoli family probably don't even care

Great views , unpleasant atmosphere.
-1 so disappointing, we visited for dinner to catch up with friends from North Queensland and there was a function, the bands was so load all through the hotel that we couldn’t even hear each other. Over 90db industrial deafness.
I understand people having a good time but this wasn’t anything it load noise.

An hour and a half wait for food on weekends is not ok.
Toronto Hotel, located in Toronto, NSW is an historic landmark establishment built in 1887.
It has quite a commanding position right opposite the lake with views right across to Belmont.
The hotel features a very popular pub style bistro, with a large undercover seating area that’s quite good. Features a big screen for watching sport and they have concerts & entertainment in that area too. There’s also a bottle shop and they also have accommodation but it’s the bistro that most people go for.
Hubby and I have eaten there multiple times, and, as it happens, it’s always been mid week. There’s multiple advantages in attending mid week, especially in terms of it being less crowded and there’s lunch specials on some food options, making the cost very reasonable at around $17. Who doesn’t like a special in these tough economic times.
Previously, when we’ve been there, the food and service have been reasonably good. However, over the weekend, I attended an organised group lunch and on this occasion, there were large groups of tables in attendance making it more crowded than what I’ve ever seen.
On this occasion, the food and the service were way below what we’ve previously experienced. The general delays on the food were well over an hour to wait, and for some people in our group, their order went awry and their delay was more than 1.5 hours. I don’t know anywhere where that kind of timeframe for food would be acceptable.
Furthermore most people in our group experienced issues of some kind with their meal when it was finally ready. In some cases those issues were significant with food being overcooked, burnt, wrong sauce, and generally just unappealing and unappetising.
I had the beef ragu which was average at best. One of the other guests also had the same dish & found it awful & inedible. Hubby had gluten free salt n pepper squid and likewise, it wasn’t great. For a dish we’ve had before, today’s serving was bland and disappointing.
Overall, this is a venue that has a lot going for it, however, this visit showed that the kitchen doesn’t cope well when crowded and regardless of any circumstances, patrons should not have to wait 1.5 hrs for what was clearly substandard meals.
On this occasion, whilst it was lovely getting together with friends, but in terms of the food we left very disappointed and we certainly weren’t alone with that viewpoint.
I genuinely hope changes can be implemented to better cater for larger weekend gatherings.
My score of 3 represents it normally being good mid week but real problems with the kitchen during busy weekends.
