Sophia was a dream host. We loved the privacy of the room and the communal breakfasts with other guests were so fun. Sophia made us feel so comfortable traveling with our toddler. It was such a special part of our trip to stay at Barossa House

A Warm, Comfortable Stay with Outstanding Hospitality

We stayed at Barossa House for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked the Jacaranda Room upstairs, which was spacious and very comfortable. The cosy couch was perfect for unwinding after a day of wine tasting, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and having Netflix available was a lovely bonus for relaxing in the evenings.
One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful breakfast prepared by our hostess, Sophia. Each morning began with a delicious serving of granola and Greek yoghurt, followed by a hearty cooked breakfast. What truly stood out was how accommodating she was with dietary preferences, happily replacing the bacon with zucchini and the eggs with feta cheese without compromising on flavour or generosity. She genuinely wanted to make sure we started each day well-fed before heading out to explore the Barossa.
Above all, Sophia's hospitality made the experience so memorable. She is incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, making us feel less like guests and more like friends staying in her home. Her genuine care and attention to detail created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere throughout our stay.
If you're looking for a charming bed and breakfast with spacious, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts and exceptional hospitality, Barossa House is an easy recommendation. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to the Barossa Valley.

Such a pleasure staying in a beautiful old house with an elegant garden and pergola, surrounded by vineyards. Our host Sophia was delightful and her little cat Oscar adorable
