A cozy gem with fantastic location

We stayed four nights at The Establishment Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked directly and chose The Establishment Room, which was very spacious at around 50 sqm. Booking direct also included breakfast, which was served from a small but well-curated menu and could be enjoyed either at the bar or delivered to the room.
The hotel’s location really is unbeatable — close to public transport, The Rocks, and plenty of restaurants and bars, making it easy to get everywhere. Some reviews mention noise, but we experienced the complete opposite and found our room to be very quiet.
The staff were consistently helpful and professional throughout our stay. We also dined at Mr Wong, and the food was excellent. A nice touch was receiving two complimentary bottles of water each day in our room.
Overall, we totally enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

A wonderful 'find'! Tucked away in a cobbled lane is this beautiful old, classy hotel! Wonderful ambience, lovely rooms with such a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom (including in ours, an old fashioned deep bath!), and great service.
Add to that the generous and lovely breakfast delivered to your room, and the Establishment Hotel bar downstairs - large, buzzy, yet no noise from it up to the room, access on to lower George St with the light rail right outside the door, and you have the perfect place to stay.
We will stay again!

Stunning hotel, stunning rooms, huge rooms, great staff, good breakfast. Faultless.
If you’re worried about noise from the bars, don’t. You can’t hear them at all.
The gym is underwhelming though.
Would stay again.
