A very enjoyable stay.

My wife and I had an enjoyable 6 nights stay at this gem of a motel. Although it is situated right on the highway at Proserpine, we were never bothered by noise from the passing traffic. Access to the Main street shopping centre in Proserpine is not much more than a kilometer from the motel.
Our hosts Julie & John, who own and run the Reef Gardens Motel did everything possible to make our stay there the enjoyable experience that it was. The rooms are clean, spacious & well equipped with a large TV (best one we've ever experienced in any motel or resort) fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and the usual cutlery, plates, cups & glasses.
The lighting and airconditioning was great and the beds, pillows very comfortable. The rooms had free WiFi and complimentary shampoo & conditioner and as well our hosts ensured that we had clean towels, milk, tea/coffee, sugar and soap daily.
All up, we cannot recommend more highly this lovely little motel to anyone who is just passing through and need a comfortable bed for the night or who intend to make Proserpine a base for further excursions to the many surrounding attractions of the magical Whitsunday tourist area.

Best place ever

Family owned, this motel was very clean and reliable. My friends and I felt very safe and the owners were so kind and generous. They even gave us lifts into town for free, they always offered to top our things up and clean out rooms. Got everything you need and aircon was great.
Recommend definitely if your passing through Proerpine

Amazing FRESH NEW rooms

Rooms have been revamped, brand new kitchen and beautifully cleaned. Would HIGHLY recommend. Easy parking for my vehicle, friendly staff, free internet, which really helped for my Job. Meals were excellent, again, I would HIGHLY recommend.

Handy for travellers

Room was clean and recently refurbished (from looking at other reviews probably after Cyclone Debbie). We were just a couple but room could sleep four, with two single beds as well as the double bed (possibly queen sized). There is a desk/table area against the wall with two chairs, a proper sink in the kitchen alcove and matching black microwave and kettle. New bathroom with new fittings. Opening windows.
Right on the highway so handy for travellers - good value for holidays but if on a holiday or some time I'd probably look for something off the highway set in gardens. But prefect for one night.
And fresh milk was provided. Owner friendly and helpful. There is wifi but I forgot to get the code.
