A true Country escape. Hospitality and great food guaranteed!

Our two‑night stay at Black Spur Inn was pure comfort and charm — we felt spoilt the entire time. The room was cosy and inviting, the welcome muscat was a beautiful surprise, and dinner each night was absolutely delicious. Breakfast continued the same high standard with generous, beautifully prepared dishes.The staff made the whole experience feel warm, personal, and genuinely hospitable. A true country escape that we adored.

After the snow the property was lovely and warm and the beds were super comfy.

Great getaway pub

We went on the package, stay dine wine and breakfast. Fabulous value. The pub is very homely with fire place and big comfy couches. Our Room was big with views into the forest. The king bed was very comfortable great linen heated bath towel rail, big bathroom. Everything supplied for your comfort. Di and her team were very accommodating. The 3 course meal was fabulous, the boys in the kitchen are very good Chefs. It was very yummy, as was the breakfast next morning. I would highly recommend the Black Spur hotel for their package deal?

Awesome Stay

My husband and I stayed at the Easter Weekend. Di, Jim and the team were amazing. They were very hospitable, friendly and courteous. We loved staying here. The breakfast was sumptuous. The beds were very comfortable. Toiletries were of good quality. There was complimentary Port Wine from Rutherglen. A good getaway from home. Will certainly come back in the future.
