A Lovely Quiet Place to Stay

Stayed for two nights in this lovely location. It is one block from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Shelley was friendly and welcoming which was great. The room was lovely and it had a bar fridge and lounge area all decorated tastefully. Close to bus stop which is two minutes walk away.

So sad

Arthur and Donna are leaving after 8 years. They have been wonderful hosts and have worked tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome.
I feel sad that this compact, friendly motel is going to be knocked down in order to build yet another clinical, sterile and impersonal high rise.
Thank you Donna and Arthur, your regular clientele will miss you.

good location

good location, the room itself was large and clean and good but there wasn't a window at all so only one exit. the décor in each room is cute. parking is ok, right at front door. perfect if you're out and about, using the room for sleep and shower.

Overnight business trip

Have stayed here before several times and had no hesitation in booking again.
Previously the rooms were beautifully decorated with themes of different countries on which we commented how lovely they were. We took friends one year, to this great convenient, motel.
Sadly we can’t say that this time!
The twin queen room appeared to have all the old decor from the other rooms. Nothing matches, multiple mismatched pictures/prints hanging anywhere, dull floral drapes, striped bedside lamps and bedside table covers that far from matched.
Holes in bathroom sliding door, no biscuits for a cuppa, oh dear, what an unfortunate let down. I couldn’t wait to leave the next morning.

Rather weird decor!!!

The decor was to say the least, rather odd and kitsch. The room was quite but then there were only 3 cars parked outside, so I can only make an opinion on that. The room was clean but in serious need of updating and a make over.
