Family weekend

Family weekend - 3 adults and small baby in July. Very clean and bright. Gas heater warmed main room really well but bedrooms were a bit chilly. Some nice touches such as nespresso pods and t2 tea. Would definitely stay again!

Avoid at all cost!

Dreadful experience. Booked last minute and ‘The Burrow’ looked nice but don’t be fooled. No sound insulation between the apartment and the one above. Every footstep, every noise loud and clear! The people above us partied into the night; music, shouting, dancing. We tried several times to contact the owner Mat but he didn’t care enough to even respond to our phone messages or email. Once he’s got your money you’re on your own. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid at all costs!

Horrifying stay!

Very disappointing stay I had.
1. No keys found at the front door
2. I had to barricade the door at night since I couldn’t lock the door from the inside as the lock mechanism is spoilt
3. Dirty bed linen and musty smell from the pillows and mattress
4. Overwhelming smell of chlorine throughout the stay
5. Spoilt TV remote control
6. The proclaim free wifi is non existent

Very disappointing - promised money not refunded

Very disappointing: we were after a quiet get away after recent distressing health news but was very noisy with people in the upstairs- who weren't noisy, just echoing wooden floors- heard every step as they moved around the apartment.
Very expensive we thought and owner who lived next door promised us half our money back from booking.com after we decided not to stay for second night- which he was fine with.
Have held off writing this review for many months but money still not been paid which owner could have arranged himself.

We stayed in the Burrow

Quite pleasant, new holiday apartments, we stayed in a studio type apartment, which was fine,but no off street parking. Comfortable,but limited heating and a fairly rustic approach to unit. No views but easy walk to town restaurants ,cafes etc
