Wheelchair Accessibility
Negatives. The reception is not accessible. The bathroom does not have mixer taps for the shower and the shower rose is not fixed. The aircon is like a Mack truck when it cycles. The room has a hinged manual door. Powerpoints and light switches can be a reach.

Basic Motel
The aircon was noisey, bathroom was old, the hot water system ran hot and cold while showering. The bathroom was accessed by a poorly fitted sliding door that was too short and provided little privacy. No info in rooms regarding wifi. Little or no insulation between rooms, woken by next door alarm and noisey tradies going to work, obvioulsy a place where lots of workers stay, train whistle started at 4am. Some updating needed.

Basic Motel in a quite location!
The A-Line Motel is a basic single-level Motel. It is in a quiet part of town, easily accessible, with plenty of parking, on concrete, outside or close to your room! The muddy, due to rain overnight, pot-holed red earth wide driveway, that’s between the pool area and the rooms with the concrete, and along the exit route, needs to be upgraded! Going on past reviews, it was the same in 2017!
Although, the Motel is not much more economical than others in the area, it’s more of a low budget, tradies, sort -of place! It’s really not that close to anything, so it is really more suitable to tradies than travelers!
Smoking was permitted outside the rooms!
The Deluxe Queen Room, in which we stayed, was in need of a reno! It was of an average reasonable size, with a bar fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bedding was OK, but the room pictured on booking sites didn’t reflect the outdated run-down room allocated to us!
The bathroom was old, including a very cheap toilet, and the hot water system ran hot and cold while showering. The fake leather lounge was very uncomfortable and flacking. It was nothing like the lounges displayed in the booking site photos. The air-conditioning was noisy and needed to be turned off at night due to the noise it made when cutting in and out! A spare blanket wasn’t provided in our room, so we borrowed one from our daughter, in order to keep us warm throughout the night! Sleeping wasn’t possible with the air-con on!
The free Wi-Fi was useless and rarely worked. Hot spotting, our phones, was required to get a decent service!
