Comfortable stay in great location

I stayed on the ground floor so I didn’t have to negotiate stairs. The room as clean and comfortable. Walking distance from eateries and the wharf. Parking right outside the door. Check in was easy and fast.
The room was a good size, with a couch and coffee table. Bed was very comfortable. Bar fridge, toaster and kettle provided along with basic cutlery and crockery.
For a couple of nights it suited my needs and I’d stay again.

A fairly typical motel room in a good location close to town. It has an adjoining cafe for breakfast and lunch.

We have stayed here before but probably won't again. The location is pretty much the only good thing about it.
The bathroom is very much in need of a reno, the toilet has a snatchy toilet roll holder. The aircon didn't work properly and was more like heating. The bed was the killer though, it was soft and lumpy and we barely slept whilst there. It wasn't even cheap.
Also, we did book an upstairs room but I don't understand why, when the place was empty, you wouldn't just upgrade us to a downstairs room, rather than put us right in the middle upstairs.
Was a shame as we love Goolwa and the location is so good.

Very clean and tidy, very friendly and helpful staff, right in the main shopping precinct. More than happy with our stay.
