First of all, we'd like to thank Frank for his help and advice, as well as the rest of the team!
The positive points about this hotel:
• Close to the beach!
• Cheap compared to other places (you wonder why).
• Everything is nearby (shopping centre within a 10–15 minute walk).
• The pizzas are really good!
The NEGATIVE points:
• For backpackers staying next to the bar/restaurant, it's just awful. The rooms are poorly insulated, they shake when there are live music events (almost every night), and you can hear everything! Bring your earplugs!!
• The kitchen... OMG. Most people are DIRTY. They never clean up after themselves and leave everything in a mess. There is no respect for others. There isn't even an oven, and there aren't enough decent frying pans for the people living there. There's only one small room with a single table for four people, which is ridiculous considering how many people stay here. Please provide more tables so people have somewhere to eat or work!
• The vacuuming is done in the nicer short-stay rooms, but not in the backpacker rooms? Don't backpackers deserve to have the floors vacuumed and mopped too? We pay rent as well.
• The parking spaces were blocked off for an "event" that lasted several days! For people living here, that's very disrespectful. We don't even have allocated parking spaces.
• The Wi-Fi is practically non-existent and useless. Make sure you have plenty of mobile data!
• They don't provide us with towels...

I returned to the Moey Hoey hotel from having such a beautiful experience earlier that week on a Monday. Again the hoey moey is a lively stop surrounded by amazing natural beauty of the Australia coast
