Arrived 2 hours before check in. Set me up near the pool with a cuppa and biscuits to wait, very nice.

It has certainly seen better days but the room was quiet, super clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was squeaky clean and towels soft. Good sized TV to lay on the bed or sit in the chair. Ample tea & coffee and a little, very cold frig. Needed the AC as it was 27 degrees and it worked very efficiently. OK for couple of days. Garage down street about 2 blocks for food.

Over night ok

Just out of main area but not far. Motel ok no facilities to talk of. Room basic found most pillows and bedding going yellow. Clean but off putting shower room ok. I went busy time if had more choice would of stayed elsewhere. Look ok but for one night or so

Budget motel, 5 star service!

What a fabulous find. We stayed 2 nights and would definitely recommend this motel to anyone who is on a budget. The room, though not the most modern room we have stayed in was spotlessly clean, made up each day, and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Only a few minutes from the Promenade and a few more to the town. The owners are an adorable couple, very friendly, happy to help with anything and really take pride in their motel. Thank you Cairns Motor Inn!

Gem of a hotel at budget prices

On our travels across Oz in January we were very prepared except for our trip to Cairns as we were playing everything by ear - we needed a budget location close to the airport and main town - just to relax
We found Cairns Motor Inn run by a wonderful couple - they were lovely !!!
A real gem of a place , clean , practical, nice quiet pool and caring owners
If you are on a budget but want something clean, tidy, friendly and a real gem then book here !!!!

Wonderful owners....of a budget property

A basic motel type of accommodation ....every thing you need, a little oldish and basic, but clean and comfortable. Very affordable and very close to the heart of town...you could walk to the Esplanade if it wasn't too hot? The best part are the owners, friendly and kind...even walked me to my room and showed me around. Great
