A beautiful wedding to remember!

I was thrilled to attend a friend/family wedding as a guest and as their Marriage Celebrant in October. From the moment we arrived at Mona Farm I was impressed by the property; it's vast space, the accommodation, which was spacious and modern, and the gardens and grounds which were all perfectly manicured. The staff were friendly, and no request made was a problem. Mona's well organised team took care of everything and as guests we were made to feel very pampered. I had the most amazing time at not only the reception, but also the pre-wedding get-together, and recovery breakfast. With fabulous food, amazing service and beautiful venue locations, it was a wedding to remember and up there with the best I have attended.

Disappointing stay

Disappointing stay. The bed linen was unclean and stained from the previous guests, meals were poorly prepared and I would not recommend staying at this venue.

Amazing!!

Simply breathtaking - from beginning to end, the whole wedding weekend experience was carefully planned and perfectly executed.
The grounds are perfectly manicured and dotted with sculptures and landscape design that made for some great photo ops.
Staff were amazing - quickly provided everything requested

An Outstanding Place in Every Respect

This place has clearly had oodles on money spent on it. Restoration of this early-1800s grand property outside Braidwood to what it is today is a credit to the current owners. Every item in our cottage was probably the best that money can buy, including kitchen utensils, furniture and fittings. The bed was superbly comfortable. The evening meal that was supplied as part of the tariff was first class, especially the fresh salad from their garden. Mouth watering! The grounds are a delight to walk in. The art work in the homestead is extremely interesting, some of which has been painted by the artists while they stayed there. Interesting sculptures are evident around the grounds. The place is peaceful. A stay at Mona is very expensive. However, if you can afford that sort of money - even once - you will remember your stay for the rest of your life.

Best Wedding Venue

Mona Farm is absolutely incredible. Being a Wedding photographer and being able to photograph weddings at this property is a dream come true. Everything about it is just perfect. The staff is incredible and never disappoints. Highly recommend
