I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the Rockford is. The rooms are a little dated but everything was lovely, the staff are some of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever encountered in a hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, easy parking and close walk to Rundle Mall. Will definitely stay again.

Pleasant hotel with annoying bathrooms.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room good but bathrooms are not designed with guests in mind. Why have a glass door? Every time someone goes to the loo in the night the other guest wakes up. I know this is a trend worldwide, but it is a very bad trend.
The soap pump container was placed so high up that I could hardly reach it and had to contort my body for access. It looks like the pumps were placed to line up with the tissues. Who cares? Just make it accessible or give guests a cake of soap. A child could not reach it and women have to stretch. We are talking about hygiene not aesthetics.
USB port did not work.

I had to miss out on the delicious buffet breakfast because I was too hung over to eat, but the Rockford was awesome as always! Great location and friendly staff.

Always great to stay at the Rocko! Reasonably priced for such an awesome hotel in an elite position.
