Excellent value
Very clean and affordable hotel in the heart of Salta. The staff was very helpful and always around when we needed them. This is an excellent option for travelers who want a good night's sleep but don't want to break the bank. Breakfast is included.

Forgettable.
Horrible experience. We were treated disrespectfully via email and WhatsApp. Everything was poorly explained. We booked an apartment at one address and they sent us to another. Everything was a disaster. No cleaning, no breakfast, terrible towels, one roll of toilet paper for two people for 4 days, a disaster. It is cheap if... but dreadful. I do not recommend it.

Bad experience
I think the photos on this site are very dated. Now there is no reception or breakfast. I felt abandoned. Communications with managers only via WhatsApp with pre-filled answers. We stayed 9 nights and were given more than a room an understairs, dark and not so clean (cobwebs everywhere) the only window about 30×30 difficult to open and in the bathroom the largest window obstructed by water and gas tanks. Not even a soap dish on the shower or the sink or the bidet or a nail to hang a jacket, 5 hangers in the closet. For 9 nights there is no change of towels or sheets, only if you book more than 10 days... a reasoning that I can not understand: that is, you change them after 10 days and you cleaned them only on the last day or you change them after 5 days and then I wonder why we do not? Anyway, it was really hot at jump. With 2 showers a day after 3 days the towels were really to change. The price of the room was very low, I recommend raising it by 5-10 dollars and treat guests a little better, eliminate room no. 7 which is worse than room 6 that of the brooms!!!!!!!

- Quite some blocks to walk to the main Plaza.
- Very old and noisy air conditioning
- rooms facing each other in the backyard.Sometimes felt like sharing a room.
Pro's:
- Very nice staff, even though speaking no English.
- Parking lots right outside the door.
- Very calm side street, supermarket around the corner.
- Good shower and water pressure.
- Good, but basic breakfast (coffee, tea, toasts, croissants, jam).
- Very clean, but basic rooms.
- Good value for money, don't expect more than that

Very disappointed
We stayed for 3 separate nights in between our different trips to Cafayate and Humahuaca. We got 3 different rooms (3 people). Here is our detailed experience:
1st night: room 26, the room smelled like cigarette pretty bad, it has only one power plug. We had to ask for a light bulb in the bathroom as only the mirror light worked. The shower has no curtain and the floor is flat in the whole bathroom so you flood everything. We checked in early afternoon and it's only when we came back at night that they told us they had no hot water due to boiler issue. I don't know if it happened in the meantime but it sucked anyway. The WiFi signal was bad.
2nd night: room 24, the WiFi is terrible, nothing goes through. We had to beg for a second roll of toilet paper, really something you wanna to spare your customers.
3rd night: room 16 on the ground floor, the best of the 3 rooms, with good WiFi signal and enough power plugs.
Here is why they deserve a really bad review: we parked our car in front of the hotel, on the yellow line as the front desk person told us the hotel had drawn it for the customers to park.
On the morning of our 3rd stay, our rental car had been broken into. They forced the trunk and stole the stereo.
When we told the receptionist she said "that's why we have a closed parking on the other side of the street". We couldn't believe it! Now you can imagine that if anyone had told us they had a closed parking we wouldn't have left the car out in the street. We checked in 3 times, 3 times they saw us park the car in front and bring our luggage in and no one told us! There's no sign at the counter. The lady still had the nerve to tell us that maybe we weren't paying attention when they told us. The neighbourhood is full of car shops that sell used parts, what a surprise!
This is going to cost us close to 6500ARS!
Next time, advise all your customers that you have a private parking.
