Highly recommended!

Lovely inn, highly recommend! Gorgeous garden, quiet but convenient location, and super friendly staff. Our family of four had a very spacious room and we couldn't have been happier with everything at Posada de Rosas. They even kindly arranged for us to check in at 3am after a delayed flight and no-show driver. We were so grateful! We hope to come back to Mendoza and stay here again!

We have travelled the world going to over thirty countries and stayed at properties that were usually quite acceptable, with some better than others. But once in a while we find an absolute gem, and indeed we did this time in Posada de Rosas! From the moment we were personally greeted at our car by Pablo, one of the proprietor's, to the moment we, quite sadly, dropped the keys in the box and left we had one of the best experiences we have ever had at a property we’ve stayed at! It was flawless! From the extremely charming, full suite by the great pool, to the common areas inside and out where people from around the world can sit, talk, and share some wine, to the wonderfully walkable neighbourhoods with such friendly people in every direction, it was one great surprise after another. But the thing that really puts this gem above so, so many others is the incredible staff. They are exceedingly friendly and always smiling and ready to help, including the cat. But the standout was Pablo himself who had elevated hosting to an absolute art form. He takes all the time needed to personally welcome guests; gives a tour of the property; goes over everything you need to know; offers suggestions on everything from local eateries, parks, grocery stores (we had a kitchen) and even information on where to go to take wine and mountain tours. This is the perfect base when visiting Mendoza! It is the one we will stay in if/when we return to this wonderful city! We can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent value and stay! We spent 6 nights at Posada de Roses. Pablo and Matilda were wonderful hosts, and there were a number of nice touches that we liked. Upon arrival, Matilda gave us a tour of the property, and explained the breakfast options. Essentially, they give a voucher for each day's breakfast that can be used at one of 3 local cafes. Over the time we spent there, we ate at all 3 and they were all very good. We enjoyed the variety and thought it was a great idea. We were also given a welcome gift of a bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. Nice touches!
The yard is beautiful and we spent hot afternoons lounging by the pool reading, swimming, and watching the many hummingbirds. It's a surprising oasis in the city.
They run a tourism agency as well and we booked a horseback riding trip/Argentine asado with them, which was absolutely fantastic.
The location is in a quiet part of town but close to restaurants, the center, and Parque San Martin. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would say the only criticism would be that the air conditioner made some noise periodically.

The staff was lovely, our room was spacious, and clean. The Posada has six rooms in total, it’s definitely more of a bed-and-breakfast compared to a hotel. Breakfast was included in our stay, however it was not served at the hotel. The owners provide you with voucher to use at 2-3 cafes close by.

We were unfamiliar with the posada concept but recommend it warmly. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen. The garden is lovely and has a clean pool. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile to look after their guests. Instead of serving breakfast, guests receive vouchers for a group of cafes nearby. It was a thoroughly good system that worked very well. I’d definitely go back if I visit Mendoza again. Thank you, all.
