Hamadan Airport is government-operated civil airport that serves and is located in Hamadan, Iran. It can be found on the map with the coordinates 34°52′09″N 048°33′09″E and lies at an elevation of 5,755 feet / 1,754 metres above mean sea level. It has one unusually shaped asphalt runway directed 10/28, measuring 10,611 feet / 3,234 metres, which goes uphill for the first half and downhill the second half. In 2015, it became an international airport.

Hamadan is the capital city of the Hamedan Province in Iran, and is among the oldest cities in the country and in the world.

Unfortunately, Hamadan Airport does not offer long haul flights at present. One would have to book a connecting flight through a major airport that offers more flight choices.
