Finding flights from Dubrovnik Airport (DBV)

Dubrovnik’s primary aviation facility is the Dubrovnik Airport (DBV), also known as the Čilipi Airport. It is 21km from the Old Town, and there are several transportation routes in the way of shuttles, taxis, and buses.

You’ll find that Dubrovnik doesn’t offer many direct destinations, typically only flying to seven cities on non-stop flights. However, the options available here are to major cities in Europe, and within the country.

Trade Air, and Croatia Airlines fly the domestic routes, and British Airlines, Vueling, and Turkish Airlines handle most of the international flights.

Popular destinations from Dubrovnik Airport

You can fly to two domestic destinations from Dubrovnik, and both of these cities are among Croatia’s finest. Within 45 minutes you can be enjoying a cocktail in Split (SPU), a gorgeous city along the nation’s central coast, explore the Roman ruins, and the outlying islands in this lovely destination. Or fly even further north into Zagreb (ZAG), the nation’s capital, and primary international hub for onward flights to other fantastic cities.

If you don’t mind hopping on a longer flight of around two to three hours, you can be shopping in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul (IST), touring the Colosseum in Rome (FCO), or see Gaudi’s masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia, in Barcelona (BCN).

Otherwise, why not fly to London (LGW), spend a few days in this historic city, and then book an onward flight to Los Angeles (LAX) and its Hollywood Boulevard, or to the beaches and streets of sultry Havana (HAV) in the Caribbean isle of Cuba for a truly spectacular holiday.
