Nice hotel, LOUD AREA!!

I feel bad giving the Muyu Tulum hotel a bad review. The hotel is very nice, comfortable with a great staff. But the location is abysmal, as it is incredibly LOUD. If it’s not the trucks roaring by 24/7, it’s the cars, scooters a pedestrians (locals and touristas), carrying on until early morning. Then there are the restaurants and bars that go until 2 - 3 am with sound systems of incredible bass. If you’re a deep, DEEP sleeper, you’ll be fine. If you awake at even the loudest noise, you’re not going to sleep. It’s a shame, it’s a really nice place.

I feel bad giving the Muyu Tulum a bad review, the hotel is really nice, and the staff is terrific. The hotel itself is clean, well and designed. But the property itself has the bad luck of being situated at what has to be the noisiest corner in Tulum. Trucks, cars and people are scream by all day and night. And when the traffic finally lets up, it’s the local bars and clubs blasting their music until the early morning hours. If you’re a very hard sleeper, you’ll do well. If not, you won’t sleep for six nights like me.

Very sweet and accommodating staff. Great room and location of hotel :-). Would stay there again
