As soon as we booked the room, I was contacted w access codes and we were able to access the property and our room which was ready earlier than listed.

The Noise was a major issue. The Cuban bar downstairs (Dos Gardenias) played very loud music until around 4 a.m. on Saturday and around 2 a.m. every other night, making it very difficult to sleep. People were also shouting in the street.
When I raised the issue after the first night, the manager told me that Saturday was an exception and that the other nights would be much more relaxed. I later checked Dos Gardenias’ schedule online and found that this was not the case: it is open daily until 2 a.m., and until 2:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
We also found a lot of dust and wrappers/debris behind the bed, showing that these areas were not properly cleaned.
Overall, despite the convenient location and daily tidying, the noise and cleanliness issues made our stay very unpleasant, especially with children.

The staff was fantastic and the air conditioning was some of the best I've had in all of Europe! Some reviews complained of street noise at night and although it is present it did not keep us up and was well worth it for the location - UrbanStay is walking distance from any and everything you could want to do in Athens and we had a fantastic stay!

The room was clean, cleaned every other day. Despite the restaurants on the street, the windows were good and there were no odors.
The only drawback was the air conditioner, which hadn't been cleaned – it started spewing out some strange stuff every time I turned it on.
Due to the good quality/location/price ratio, I'll be looking for a place to stay next time.

The noise level in the area made it impossible to sleep. Sometimes the music went until 3:30AM. We went to Athens to explore which means being out all day touring around but when you only get a few hours sleep, made for tiring mornings. There were issues with the air conditioner and hot water but those issues were resolved. The main bathroom could use a good cleaning as there was mold on the ceiling and also on the floor of the shower. The size of the unit was perfect but would no recommend anyone staying there unless you love the sound of bongo drums at 2AM.
