DO NOT STAY HERE

This is the WORSE place I have ever stayed. It has been over 3 weeks now and I am still trying to get my security deposit back ! They never had replied reply to emails and the phone number provided does not call through. The bed is like sleeping on a rock, and the place wasn’t clean. The shower door was broken and it would get stuck and be hard to open. They didn’t even seem to care or try fix it. It is well over priced for what it is. I wouldn’t even stay here for free, it is that bad.
If someone from your team is reading this, PLEASE email me back regarding my security deposit. The deposit is the most I have ever paid for a hotel too.

Review

Filthy rooms. Every aspect of the room including linen is stained and dirty. Not enough plates and cutlery. No dishwasher powder. No dish cloth. Old lumpy pillows. The carpets and blinds are disgustingly stained.

We were booked for a 19 day stay at Anchor on Little Collins street, Melbourne. 36 hours before hand we were informed it was flooded and we would have to go elsewhere. By this time we were already on our way. Arriving in Melbourne we had to go to Anchor on Elizabeth. Arriving at 21.00 we were taken to our “apartment “. It was filthy. The furniture all looked as though it had been dumped there, no soft furnishings and no air conditioning apart from a stand alone unit that wasn’t switched on. The ‘concierge’ switched it on and after collecting credit card details for $500 in case we damaged anything left. We found out the next day that the unit needed a pipe which ha to go out of a window. We found the pipe stacked at the top of the bathroom cupboard. The weekend was a bank holiday weekend and we couldn’t get hold of anyone. The place need cleaning thoroughly, light bulbs were missing, very little crockery, drawers full of rubbish and more. After the weekend they did offer us another apartment, which meant packing up and moving but hopefully it would be better. It was slightly, it had air conditioning that worked and was the flat was properly dressed, but it wasn’t much cleaner. The washing machine handle was broken, found it in cupboard under TV. They got a handyman in who fixed it with glue and gaffer tape! It lasted 2 openings.
I could go on, needless to say it took the shine off our holiday. It was nearly impossible to get hold of the concierges and completely impossible to reach anybody in charge. They still have not bothered answering anyone. If I could give this a minus score I would.
