How to get around within Ljubljana

There are 26 bus lines that operate within Ljubljana, these come and go every ten to 15 minutes, or 15 to 30 minutes during the weekends and summer. There are regular scheduled buses that start at 5 or 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. with the night schedule at around 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., or sometimes depending on the line. Going by taxi, the taxis do not charge the same fare, stick to the taxis that can be ordered by phone since they are the cheapest. Most if not all of the taxis that roam the streets charge more, even for short rides. Going by bicycle, there are ones available for rent via the Slovenian Tourist Information Center.
