Grand Canyon, located at 36.1 latitude and -112.1 longitude, is the canyon that was carved by the Colorado River almost 17 million years ago. The Grand Canyon is approximately 446 kilometres, 277 miles long steep-sided located within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, in the state of Arizona, United States. The Grand Canyon Village Historic District has been designated to the NRHP or National Register of Historic Places as of 1975, and designated to the NHLD or National Historic Landmark District as of 1987. The Grand Canyon Village is known for structures like Bright Angel Lodge, Buckey O’Neill Cabin, and Hopi House, along with park services that include the Grand Canyon National park Superintendent’s Residence, the Grand Canyon Park Operations Building, the Grand Canyon South Rim Ranger’s Dormitory, along with the Park Service Employee residences.

Grand Canyon, or the Grand Canyon National Park, can be considered as one of the most fascinating and premier natural attractions in the world. Getting to the park requires travellers to go in via Tusayan, Arizona. Tusayan is a resort town that serves as entrance to the Grand Canyon Park. When getting around Tusayan, roads that serve the area include Arizona State Highway 64, Williams and U.S. Highway 180, along with Flagstaff which serves the Tusayan. These thoroughfares share a four-lane highway that goes through the town then merges to become two lanes beyond the business district. Also, the route designations separate towards the south of Tusayan, by Valle. Also when within the national park, there are shuttles that serve visitors; these rides go to and from the town starting May then ending September.

The airport operates scheduled flights to and from Boulder City in Boulder City, Nevada; and North Las Vegas Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. The airports that serve these destinations are Boulder City Municipal Airport and North Las Vegas Airport, respectively.
