Popular destinations from Santiago de Compostela Airport

Find your way around the best cities and holiday resorts Spain has to offer; tour Barcelona (BCN), the Gothic seaside city of Catalan, and see Gaudi’s masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia. Or leave the city behind in favour for the gorgeous Mediterranean Balearic Islands, and fly to Majorca (PMI), where you can enjoy the sapphire seas, dramatic rocky outcrops, and golden beaches of one of Spain’s most popular resorts.

Outside of Spain, there are the legendary streets of Paris (CDG) where philosophers, and writers have all found themselves falling in love with the beautiful architecture and joie de vivre of the French capital. Geneva (GVA) is also a quick hop away, of only two hours, and offers a totally different side of Europe to that of Spain. Fly in the winter, and you can take advantage of nearby Chamonix, just across the border in France, and a fantastic ski resort. Or stay in Geneva’s Old Town, and tour the lovely boutiques, museums and galleries you can find here.

There are no long-haul journeys that depart from this airport, but with excellent connections to both Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN), travellers can easily transit to destinations across every corner of the world from these larger international hubs.
