Ways To Check-In

Online check in is available on Oman Air up to 24 hours before your flight departs. There are also check in options at the airport, including early check in, which can be open from 8 hours before your flight, perfect if you are making a travel connection. The airline recommends that you check in at the airport at least 3 hours before take off, and please note that check in will close online or in person an hour before the plane’s departure.

Baggage Allowances & Fees

The checked baggage allowance with Oman Air is pretty generous, with Economy passengers allowed to check 30kg, Business 40kg, and First Class 50kg. All checked bags must adhere to linear dimensions of 158cm, or they will be subject to excess baggage charges.

For carry on luggage, an Economy traveller may bring one piece weighing 7kg, but First and Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, but cumulatively they cannot exceed 14kg. Please note that all bags must not be larger than 115cm linear dimensions.

Oman Air allows for unaccompanied minors between the ages of 5 and 16 to travel with them. The child will be given an escort that will keep an eye on them for the duration of the journey, though you must check the airline’s restrictions and requirements to use this service.
