Toowoomba Airport, officially known as Toowoomba Aerodome, is the airport serving the city of Toowoomba in Queensland, Australia. It is located 4.1 kilometres northwest of the central business district of Toowoomba. The airport is owned and operated by the Toowoomba Regional Council, and is served exclusively by Australian airline Skytrans.

The city of Toowoomba was given the nickname 'the Garden City', having over 150 public parks and gardens. It is also the provincial capital of Queensland's Darling Downs region. It is Australia's sixteenth-largest city and the region's sixth-largest, and the most populous inland non-capital city in the country. Yearly events hosted by Toowoomba include Easterfest during the Easter weekend and the Australian Carnival of Flowers every September.

Queensland Maritime Museum - Founded in 1971, the Queensland Maritime Museum is a two-level exhibition located on the southern bank of the Brisbane River. The museum displays historic sailing ship models, as well as early cargo ships, modern container ships, tankers, and cruise liners. Part of the museum is a library with documents, photographs, and other important artefacts relating to maritime history. There is also a lighthouse exhibition that provides information on the development of lighthouse technology.

Sydney Opera House - The most famous icon of Sydney is the Sydney Opera House, a multi-venue performing arts centre located on the Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour. The building was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, who received the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2003. Rather than being a single venue, the Sydney Opera House consists of multiple performance venues, namely; the Concert Hall, the Joan Sutherland Theatre, the Drama Theatre, the Playhouse, the Studio, the Utzon Room, and the Forecourt, as well as its other areas that are occasionally used for performances such as the northern and western foyers. Apart from live performances, the Sydney Opera House is also used for ceremonies, conferences, and other social functions. Additionally, there is also a recording studio, retail outlets, cafes, restaurants, and bars.

Cunnamulla Fella Centre - The cultural centre of Cunnamulla houses the Visitor Information Centre, the Shire Hall Performing Arts and Community Centre, Art Gallery, Artesian Time Tunnel, and the Museum Heritage Exhibition. The centre is devoted to showcasing the history and heritage of Cunnamulla. The name of the small town means 'long stretch of water' in Aboriginal language, and it lies on the Warrego River in South West Queensland.

City Botanic Gardens - Formerly called the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, the botanical garden can be found on the Gardens Point in the Brisbane central business district. It contains several rare and unusual botanic species. Among its most notable collections are palms, figs, and bamboo. The gardens serve as a premier public park and recreational facility.
