There was a spider in the trash can in the cabin and a small bug in the bed. Apart from that everything was normal. The water is a little sticky but I am assuming that is the general water supply in the area.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but I would have lived to stay longer as it was an ideal location on the south end of Wall right at the entrance to Badlands. Cabin with kitchenette was the perfect size for 3 adult women on a road trip.

The only good part were the beds, which were the only two things that felt clean about the cabin. The amount of bugs on the carpet, especially in the bathroom, were atrocious. We won’t even discuss the spider the size of a grown man’s palm that was in the shower along with the smaller spiders. It appeared that they clean the beds, stock clean towels, wipe down the bathroom counter and that’s it for house keeping.

This location would be perfect for a quick overnight or a “home base” for a longer stay, if someone were looking to spend several days exploring Badlands National Park and other sites in the Wall area. The cabins were clean and cozy, beds extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the view!

At 9 pm I'd called ahead and texted that we might be late, but no one answered - the voicemail was full and wouldn't take a message. We rolled in by 10 pm but found the office was closed early. A different phone number on the door led to the solution of how to get into our cabin, but it was hard to find and navigate in the dark. The room itself was cute and clean. Tall, soft, cozy beds. At checkout in the morning the office was still closed at 10 am. We needed ice but there was only an outdoor freezer of bagged ice - no indication whether it was free or how to pay if it wasn't. I don't expect you'd get much help if there was a problem in the room.
