Nice countryside setting, with outside seating, lovely for a summers night overnight stay. Nice dinner menu, food was excellent, 2 course special offer. Bonus that their monthly quiz night was on, we didn’t win but it was a nice extra to start the evening. Breakfast included next morning, was extremely good value and cooked to order. The lady at breakfast (which may have been the owner, sorry didn’t catch her name), was very friendly and was genuinely interested in our stay/onward journey - we were the couple heading to Carfest at Silverstone 😀. Will definitely stay here again if looking for an overnight stopover/explore the area and would definitely recommend.

Friendly welcome & good food
I was served by a friendly, welcoming & efficient young man who was on his own taking orders, serving food & drinks & clearing tables.
I ordered a battered fish sandwich with tartare sauce, salad & coleslaw. The fish was moist & cooked to perfection.
I'll definitely return to The Queens in November when my dog is booked in for another hair cut.

A royal stay.
It is a very pleasant place, and if we were to pass by again, we would certainly return.
It is very calm; you immediately feel at home. There are tables outside in the garden where you can have a drink or simply sit down.
The welcome is truly very pleasant.
If you do not like good cuisine, you should not go there :)
We dined on-site; it was really very good. To whet your appetite: Perfectly cooked salmon, a delicious sauce, samphire, asparagus, and basil peas—a delight. And after dessert, a delicious coconut crème brûlée and chocolate tart for one, and caramel tart with whipped cream for the other.
Breakfast was a second delight with the option to step off the beaten path from the English breakfast that one of us had, which was very hearty and excellent, as well as a delicious vegetarian breakfast, which I think had a bit of Indian spices. More croissant and homemade jam.
You are received like a king, not like a queen.
