Short break

Top notch bed and breakfast although calling it a bed and breakfast is somewhat of a disservice to it as in my opinion its more like a high end hotel the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly the rooms are refitted to a high standard comfy bed and everything you could need in the room and the breakfast was amazing bravo

Super hosts and wonderful room

We were welcomed by lovely hosts Matt & Amanda. Our room was gorgeous and had everything we needed, including freshly baked cookies , which were lovely.
The shower was great my husband really did like the waterfall part of it ! Breakfast was filling and extremely tasty. Thank you both for such a wonderful stay. 10/10

Devonshire Villa - a little gem!

This is the third year myself and a friend have stayed at The Devonshire Villa, it's a gem of a place in Ilfracombe. Amanda and Matt are welcoming and attentive. The rooms are so comfortable and tastefully decorated, as is the whole guesthouse.
Lovely touches in the bedroom included a small fridge stocked with fresh milk and water, homemade cookies to complement a well stocked tea and coffee tray. The breakfasts are delicious with a wide choice to meet all needs . Expertly cooked by Matt with lovely service by Amanda. Can't rate it highly enough!

Fabulous B & B. What a find!

We’ve just returned from a 6 night stay at this B & B. What a fantastic place this is! Absolutely spotless, very comfortable room, amazing breakfast and warm welcoming hosts! Only a short distance from the town so it’s close enough to walk and not too close to be disturbed from any town noise. So many places to explore locally so lots to do whilst visiting Ilfracombe and the hosts are very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Matt & Amanda for your fab hospitality! See you next year! X

Lovely stay and would recommend to others

Matt and Amanda were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast offering was excellent and tasted great.
We were in room 4 which was a very high standard and very comfortable.
Nothing to not like but an additional shelf in the bathroom would be useful to put toiletries on
