Always a fantastic stay at the Hawkley Inn.
This time the food was particularly outstanding… decent portions and top quality.
Staff friendly and helpful as always and the room 4 was perfect.

Hawkley Inn is a lovely place for a quiet peaceful stay. It is situated along a small road leading to the village. The drive to Hawkley Inn is through woods.
We had a comfortable room with a separate living overlooking a field. The bathroom was clean and so was the rest of the bedroom and living room.
We had dinner at the Hawkley Inn. The food was very nice, freshly cooked. The beer was local. The service was efficient.
The staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff are brilliant and could not have been more helpful, the hotel offers all we needed. The room however looked as though it had not been cleaned properly and the tea and coffee facilities were not replaced each day, overall a good stay but could do with a few improvements

For my particular stay, it was in support of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This Inn is quite the distance from Goodwood (about 45 mins). but perhaps that’s one of the reasons why they offered reasonable rates.
For that reasonable rate, you get to stay at surely one of the more charming inns around. Lya & her team clearly have a great bond and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
A charming little place that also it must be said, offers incredibly delicious food. It’s worth the trip just for the kitchen alone!

Our first visit but definitely not our last!

We had lunch and met friends who had been before and who had highly recommended this lovely village pub. We were not disappointed! Our food was delicious and superbly cooked. The staff were relaxed, friendly and yet very professional. Our visit followed an exhausting walk so we and our dogs relished the log fire in the bar and the welcome they were given. You can dine in the bar and also in adjacent rooms - such a refreshing change from open plan eateries. We travelled from Surrey - over 40 miles - but it was well worth the effort. Our experience was hospitality at its very best and we will be returning.
