Perfect spot for a quiet getaway

My first time to Ko Samet for an overnight, and I wanted a quiet getaway just to relax without all the activity. This place was perfect for that. Stayed in one of the beachfront bungalows, and while I would prefer that they didn't have the music during the day, it wasn't really that bothersome, and they turn it off by 6PM, so the morning and evening are wonderfully peaceful. Room #2 seems a bit better than #1 where I stayed, since it's set back a bit so a little more private.
Had breakfast and dinner at Samed Villa next door, and both were very good. They have a Fire Show at 7:30. Also got a massage there, and that was outstanding. Had lunch at TubTim on the other side, and that was good as well. The bar is quite nice, and drinks are very good, both alcohol and non. Went for runs both mornings, and though the roads are quite hilly and challenging, traffic was minimal with plenty of space, so not stressful at all.
Took a walk down to Sai Kaew beach, which is ~20min, and need to walk in parts on the narrow road with traffic. Definitely glad I chose the quiet area, since it was quite loud and crowded, but lots of fun nightlife options if that's your interest.
They do have some construction going on during the day, which can be a little distracting, but again not terrible. I'm a little concerned that all the new construction may detract from the peace and quiet, but hopefully they'll be able to preserve that.

Wonderful 5 days by the beach

Great value for money. Had a bungalow right on the beach. White sand and beautiful clear water. Staff excellent, especially Dom the barman. Clean and tidy rooms. Peaceful. Plenty of options nearby for breakfast and dinner. Lunch on the beach from street food sellers was delicious. I will definitely come back.

Lovely week stay

Such a lovely little resort, super friendly staff and the bar tenders Dom and Tong really take care of you at the bar and make the best cocktails on the island. Beach is calm and beautiful and not too many other busy resorts around so you can really enjoy the scenery. Cannot stress how wonderful Dom and Tong are though, two of the best people you can meet on the island.

Great beach, pity about the loud dance music

Excellent location spoilt by the building of a new reception/bar that plays loud dance music ALL day, from 8.30am, right next to the best beach front bungalow. The staff are oblivious to the disturbance caused.
Otherwise a nice budget resort in lovely beach.
