Tasty and cheap experience

The lunch menu is excellent. The choice is limited, a different dish every day of the week. This guarantees quality.
Fine dishes, impeccable service, bright and comfortable surroundings (as German custom suggests) with lake view.
The restaurant also has a hotel.

Fantastic lodge in Überlingen

In this hotel everything really fit: Rooms, service, staff and especially the evening restaurant visit. Even the breakfast was sensational. You were given a card and could choose what you wanted for the next day - and that was then both in terms of variety and quality at its finest. In the evening, the restaurant offered a small but very fine selection of food, and we loved every day anew

Restaurant not as advertised

Menu shown on website and online does not match the menu at the restaurant. Many dishes still listed on the website are not an option. Just not on the menu! also, the menu is not available in any other languages (English)! Found dishes to be small, and overpriced. No A/C and when windows are closed, its like sauna. Men's toilet hand dryer broken, NO paper towels and the light did not work either. Mostly senior citizens sitting in the restaurant eating, felt out of place. Food was not delicious and feel i wasted my money. Never go back!!!!

Nice location, very small room

Just staid there and was not overly impressed. While the location is very nice. Parking is quite far away and you need to carry your baggage quite a bit. Then the room was very small and the bathroom so small that you could brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet and having the feet in the shower to wash them. No way of turning around in there. I actually had a camper before with a bigger bathroom. Lake view was very nice. Breakfast, not included in the room price, was ok st best. All in all I will not come back.

Ok place but the the receptionist was bad!

The hotel is ok since we needed it only for one night sleeping because we were on a biking tour. In the Restaurant the food is good. And by the way "freindly" is different in this hotel!!! The receptionist decide to charge us for 1 more person because she realise that we are with baby! So I said that we book that room with 2 double beds exactly because the booking advice me when I put the numbers of people we are and I paid directly. She was screaming and being so bad telling us to pay for the baby!!!!! Again here ..mmmmm.... definatelly NO!
