Excellent

Charming hotel located in the center of the village.
Very well located for hiking departures.
Excellent welcome, charming, clean, and pleasant room, hearty and excellent half-board.
A very beautiful experience in this little corner of paradise.

Short stay in the cool during the heatwave

Very pleasant 3* mountain hotel, functional and comfortable rooms, excellent bedding, small balcony, friendly welcome.

Bad tempered staff

Not welcoming at all. Had to go to their bar where the barman was throwing a tantrum. Asked him if I could check in and he ignored me. He all but threw the keys at me when he eventually checked me in. Not what I needed after a 13 hour journey.

Comfortable, peaceful stay

We stayed here after four days hiking part of the Haute Route and it was just perfect. The beautiful view from the balcony where we could celebrate our time in the Alps was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the shower and bath hot and good pressure. Coffee machine in the room and the breakfast with fresh croissants were great.

Perfect Haute Route Pit Stop

After 5 days on the Haute Route, the Hotel du Pigne was exactly what I needed for an amazing, hot (and not time-restricted) shower and an amazing meal. The private rooms and bed were extremely comfortable, and the restaurtant was delicious. The "easy raclette" is not to be missed, and we had a blast chatting with the staff and meeting others around our table. A perfect night!
