Beautiful campsite with exceptional customer service. Highly recommend.

Beautiful well kept campsite with lovely secluded pitches. Showers and toilets immaculate. Staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. Loved it so much we stayed an additional night. Arrived on 5/6/2025 so slightly out of season so pool had no water but wasn’t a problem.

A sorry campsite

Campsite not recommended. Be careful when paying because they charge you what they want. Regular baths. Bad food. Good pool. There's no snack area. The barbecue area is behind the restaurant upon payment of 5 euros for the garden. The supermarket is minimal so there is hardly anything.

Wonderful Spanish campsite in beautiful La Rioja

Camping Berceo has everything you need for a wonderful time in the beautiful Rioja region.
Excellent and clean sanitary facilities, a lovely swimming pool with sunbathing lawn, and a very cozy bar/shop and restaurant with super friendly and hospitable employees.
The campsite has nice spacious pitches with plenty of shade and also many permanent pitches for the Spanish owners.
The people are all extremely friendly and hospitable.
You quickly feel at home here.
We will definitely come back again.

Cultural visit.

We went to Berceo to see a theatrical visit by the great Pepe Viyuela and we stopped to eat at the campsite. Alejandro treated us as if we were at home. Homemade food very well made. The caparrones, the rice with beans, the lasagna, the peas... And as a main course, the meat stews. Spectacular. Thank you for the service and attention. Out of 10. We will return.

Large pitches, quiet but pricey

We stayed in low season so there were lots of free pitches. The best two things about this site we found are the pitches and its location. (We didn’t try the restaurant, bar or pool).
The pitches are a really good size and grassy. The location is great for trips out to the Rioja region. We visited Logroño, Pamplona, bodegas and the national park/Sobron easily. There doesn’t seem much to see/do within walking distance though.
The toilet block is average, everything works ok but it’s a bit dated. The dish/clothes washing facilities are really good. The site was really peaceful - whether that’s because it was low season or not I don’t know.
There are a lot of permanent caravans on the site with various extensions and awnings. Somehow this made it feel a little more enclosed than we would usually like. Also it was pretty expensive - €29 a night (€6 each per person, €5 for electricity, €6 for one tent and another €6 for a car).
We found the owners very helpful.
