Ibersol Playa Dorada, just 150 metres from the beach of Coma-ruga, has a swimming pool, seasonal entertainment and a range of sports. The rooms are all air conditioned. Ibersol Playa Dorada’s rooms all have telephone and balcony.

Mixed review!
The hotel itself was lovely and the pictures definitely do it justice. The rooms were nice and cleaned daily. The hotel was right near the beautiful beach and the promenade goes for miles. We hired bikes from the hotel at 12 euros per bike all day, which was great!
There is no transfer from Barcelona airport to the hotel, check all taxi prices as ours increased by the time we got there!
The area, Coma Ruga I believe is a holiday destination for the Spanish. Not one single person we came across was English. None of the menus in the local restaurants were in English, so we had to translate. Not many people speak English. We were shocked and I understand we are in Spain but it’s not a holiday destination to be honest. We would not visit this area again.
The entertainment was all in Spanish so we was just sat there. Many of the hotel staff cannot speak English either, my daughter is pretty good at Spanish so she had to speak for us.
We went jet skiing which you can find at the port, is was great!
The food was really nice and something different every day so no complaints there. As other reviews have mentioned there is no labels on the food and none of the staff speak English so you have to just try it if it’s not obvious what it is.
All in all I would not visit again.

Nice hotel near the beach
Very nice hotel. Food mostly good. Pool didn’t open till 10.00, would have preferred earlier. Very near a lovely beach. Evening entertainment mainly bingo and kiddy dancing/games, not much if you’re a solo traveller hoping to enjoy an evening of entertainment or shows. Receptionists v helpful. Bar staff, Huerta and Enzo lovely, wouldnt rate the rest!

Scam
For a 3-star hotel, it has 3 stars too many; the food is scarce and bad, and to top it off, if they can, they use fans in the dining room in the middle of August.
The rooms were still not made up at 3:00 PM; I understand it's due to a lack of staff, but the service provided by this pseudo-hotel is pathetic.
The room air conditioning is 20 years old and doesn't cool, the pool is literally green water; paying what is currently charged for this is a scam.

Sin embargo, lamentamos sinceramente que su experiencia no haya estado a la altura de sus expectativas.
El servicio de limpieza es de 9:00 a 15:00 y dependiendo la ruta de housekeeping algunas habitaciones se hacen poco antes de las 15:00. El comedor dispone de varios aires acondicionados en unidades centrales.
Tomamos nota de sus comentarios sobre el servicio de restauración, la climatización en las zonas comunes y la tranquilidad de las áreas compartidas. También analizaremos internamente su percepción respecto al funcionamiento del aire acondicionado en la habitación y la puntualidad en la limpieza, así como sus observaciones sobre la piscina y la percepción del precio. Nuestro equipo siempre está disponible en recepción para atender cualquier incidencia durante la estancia y brindar ayuda en lo posible.
