Good location for good money.

Stayed there from 22/12/2015 - 30/12/2015. We absolutely loved it! The room was tidy with all of the facilities needed. Big TV and quiet location - a bit too far from the town center but it's only 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes in taxi. There's bus stop just outside the hotel and it's not expensive. The staff in the hotel is amazing, professional, efficient and caring. As we were the only people in the hotel for first few nights the breakfast was set up especially for us - everything has been set up on the separate table including plates and glasses. It really made us feel special. We will definitely stay again.
The only minus was too thin walls. We could hear people partying and having sex in rooms located nearby. In the future I'm just going to ask for the room at the end of corridor as the standards of the hotel are very high. Noisy people are not the hotels fault.

Good standard for good money

It's a nice hotel, not fancy, but the price is good. It is a little bit far from city center, but if you are traveling by car it is not a problem Staff was friendly and I really enjoyed free breakfast in the morning.

Single room only suitable for children!!

I chose this hotel for its location, it was a 5 min drive from where I needed to be. It was only about a 10 minute drive into Kalisz centre, but if you don't have a car, then I guess you'd be a bit stuck.
Good things first, breakfast was adequate, not much choice but did the job.
There was no restaurant on site, so the only way to eat in the evening was for the staff to order a takeaway or to eat out. The takeaway was quite bad, but inline with what I have come to expect from Polish cuisine.
The room itself was tiny, which would've been fine if it wasn't for the fact that the bed was also tiny. Now I'm not tall at 5' 10", but my legs must've stuck out of the bed by about a foot! Not great after a hard days work or long drive from Warsaw!

Average location

Generally the location is poor, rather not central and far from city center. It's a quite small house, looks like familly owned property. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms are just average: clean with some classic and basic equipement, not too spacious. Quite comfy for one night. The breakfast was good.

Dismal

The only positive thing to say about this hotel is in regards to the reception staff who did try very hard to help with an array of issues but stated that there were issues contacting the manager who was unavaliable. The reception staff said all requests.....like a leaky toilet had to go through the manager.
As a party of 4 we had pre booked 2 rooms in this hotel for 5 nights, several months in advance. On arrival we were told that because there was a conference going on they had accomodated us at another hotel for the first night. We were fine with that and enjoyed a night at another hotel.
On the second day when we arrived however things simply deteriorated to the extent we left after one night and found alternate accomodation.
We requested smoke free rooms yet there was a strong pungent odour of tobacco smoke in both rooms.
The rooms were poorly maintained to the degree that one of the rooms had the noise of running water from the toilet all night which couldnt be fixed. The other room had half its curtains missing which resulted in light streaming in from the crack of dawn. Uncomfortable beds, wafer thin sheets all added to the experience. Both bathrooms smelt of mildew, and the hotel is located next to an industrial site with the result big trucks and the resultant noise were moving past our windows from very early in the morning until late at night.
Breakfast.....an attempt at a buffet was put together but the bread was stale as were things like the meat and cheese which had a mouldy dry crust about it. We are all in favour of recycling but that does not extend to yesterdays breakfast being served the following day.
A terrible experience all round, poorly managed, after travelling for 4 months in Europe and staying in lots oh different types of hotels, this hotel is a strong contender to win the title of worst hotel in Europe we stayed at.
