Great place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ramzes. Clean, comfortable, modern room, close to the beach and close to the tram that takes you to Gdansk centre. I particularly appreciated the online communication with the office; during my trip, my e-mails were responded to immediately and were very helpful.

Villa Ramses - has pros and cons

Willa Ramzes is located in Gdańsk Brzeźno. You can easily get there by tram from the train station itself, there is also a parking lot next to the villa, but it is small and in summer I think parking is a problem. It is a building located right next to the church and the church bells wake you up every day at 6:00 a.m. No alarm clock needed. If you are unlucky and get a room right above the restaurant kitchen, you will hear all the kitchen noises right after the bells ring, as well as the cleaning ladies who can vacuum in the mornings. The breakfast was good, quite varied, and the coffee from the espresso machine was also quite good. However, there is so little space in the restaurant that I can't imagine a crowd of people in the summer who want to eat breakfast at the same time. What really surprised me was that the heating is turned on only after 4 p.m., so if the weather is bad and you want to stay in the room, you'll be freezing. I have never seen such hotel practice in my life. The beds are comfortable, the room has a table, a micro-sofa to sit on, a kettle and glasses for making coffee and tea, and a small fridge. There is no balcony. There is no elevator in the building, so you have to carry your suitcase up to the floor yourself. The building is not adapted to disabled people. There is a tram stop, a shop and a milk bar nearby, with good food and decent prices. It is close to the beach. The beach is nice and you can walk for miles. If someone cares about a good location, it's a good place, but it didn't make a very good impression on me. I don't think I would go there again.

Not bad

This hotel is located nearby a beach, but far from a city center and an old town. Therefore location is perfect for people who like spending holidays taking sunbathes, but far from perfect for nightlife lovers. In general neighborhood is tranquil. Mind you there is an tram nearby and it could be a bit noisy.
As far as accommodation is concerned rooms are modern, but toilets seems to be quite oldish (nineties style). Furthermore lobby and canteen seems to be do up, but still a kind of kitschy. As a matter of fact buffet is great.

Nice and quiet

A small hotel near the tram.Friendly staff,clean room.Guarded parking spot.A small,but tasty brekfast.Comfortable beds,good space.No AC at rooms.Shop nearby.Really good value.Short walk to the beach..

very comfy

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff understood english, very helpful and CO-OPERATIVE. Comfy beds. Great standard and very inexpensive.Breakfast was ok. The tram stop was just across the street and so was a small shop where you could buy pretty much every food item. The beach was only 200 m. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
The only thing that was new for us was that you have to ask for houskeeping.
