Hotel is well located for travelers who want all ammenities every thing is close by and the restaurant has good food i would definately recommend staying here

Only big by name.
Big in name, petty in attitude.
Low rates until you want another towel or pillow, then they charge, not much for sure, but still a charge. Then had to ask for them 2 times before they delivered.
Tried to charge for our daughter as extra person in room until I showed booking confirmation was for 3 people.
Restaurant on-site is only at best fair in standard. Prices ok, but food is average.
No fridge in room so can't keep anything cold. Had executive room which was about standard room quality at other hotels.
Dont ask for a second room key, thats not allowed.
Hot water in shower with own heater unit but not good pressure.
Breakfast offering caters to local tastes, very little for westerners. Cappuccino type coffee is extra charge.
Only cucumber juice to drink or water or iced tea. Take your own juice if you want something else.
No room safe.
Nothing supplied in way of water in room to drink.
Cups and saucers but you need to get coffee (only) supplies from hall way area.
Surprisingly they do give a toothbrush should you need it.
Housekeeping staff are fast but soleless. Everything is a drama... removed 3 towels left 2 when asked for 3rd one, had to go and check we were allowed 3 before it was delivered.
Dont ask for extra toilet paper, if there is anything left on the roll even 2 sheets, you dont get more.
Check in staff somewhat officious but check out was better, friendlier, maybe check in was having a bad day.
Concierge/ door staff very friendly and helpful.
Free Wifi had good strong signal.
Parkmall across the road with eating options, supermarket, banking, some shops.
If you dont want too much from the hotel and don't want to pay too much, then big hotel could be for you.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Son was in town at the same time and we were able to add an additional bed for about $15 a night to the room which was very helpful. Breakfast buffets was good but neg. To much bad oils in omelette preparation. Other than that a great stay in what is a little older hotel. There is a mall right across the street with stores and restaurants. Also a very good hospital in walking distance.

Sliding glass door would not close. Towels were dingy and had stains on them. Bath mat was very dirty. We have stayed at your hotel for the past 3 years and have to say it's going downhill rapidly. Breakfast selection was not so great. Coffee was very bitter. What happened to the coffee dispenser you have had in the past? Bellboy was very helpful.

February 2026 hotel stay at BIG hotel
Do not check in at rooms facing the street. They have poor sound insulation and you can hear vehicle noise in your room. Opt for the mountain view side
I booked my stay for 4 nights. First night, I didn't sleep well because of trucks and jeepneys and motorcycles in wee hours of the night. I complained the next day and the staff happily moved and upgraded me to a different room (not the street view room anymore).
Both rooms I tried have great airconditioning, though in the shower, the hotel should replace both shower head holder as both rooms are loose
Decent breakfast. Cant complain!

Hotel internet is not that great. Good thing there is a co working space (hotel's tenant), where the internet is fast.
