The only downside was that the air conditioner didn’t work great and the room was quite cold with no way of making it warmer.
Location was nice and central, however there was a lot of noise from a nearby nightclub both Thursday and Friday night, which is of course not the hotels fault.

1. No telephones in room, you need to go walk down to reception for every request.
2. No water in room.
3. No luggage help on arrival.
4. No turn-down service.
Great 4 stars hotel, but not 5 stars.

Excellent hotel in a perfect Oslo location
We had a fantastic stay at the Savoy 1918 and would massively recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo.
The hotel is very clean throughout and has a real feeling of quality. The location is excellent — very central and a great base for exploring the city.
The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay and really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was also of a really high quality, with a great selection, and the cocktails from the bar were excellent.
A special mention has to go to the beds and pillows — genuinely some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. We slept brilliantly!
Overall, a really impressive hotel that combines a great location, excellent service and a high-quality feel. Would massively recommend the Savoy 1918 as a base for a trip to Oslo and would happily stay here again.
