Outstanding value

Simple accommodation but for the price, excellent value. Absolutely fine for a bed for the night or two. Very clean and in a delightful leafy setting with wrap round veranda. Only a 20 minute walk into town. Raglan is pure delight. The accommodation also has an on site café. The Raglan Roast Food where you will enjoy excellent and delicious food and cabinet food. Melt in the mouth lemon meringue tart and a perfectly fresh jalapeño and cheese scone. Complemented by complimentary coffee as motel guests.
The only thing missing in the accommodation was a dish cloth.
For the price, it is what it is and perfectly adequate for a short stay.
Delightful crew.

Ok, good for just 1 night

The unit was ok. Very small.
We weren’t aware of towels only being provided fresh if staying more than 2 days. Nothing on the website addresses this. We booked through booking.com and this wasn’t on the website either. I think there were notes in the info sheets on this in the unit but it is something you need to be aware of prior to arriving. We asked for towels on our second day and were given them but told that normally if we were staying more than 2 days then we would get clean towels. If you had no clean towels with you this would be a problem. It was raining when we stayed, and no heated towel rack for drying. There were 2 chairs and a table on the deck but things wouldn’t have dried well there even in a non damp, wet environment. The room was clean but based on the towel policy I would not be back.

Raglan west- a good place to stay.

This was a five unit complex, behind a cafe, which worked well for our group. The rooms were compact, but the shower was warm and the unit was clean. Good coffee from the cafe, and a few minutes fro the town centre. Host was helpful with dinner ideas and restaurants.

Best deal in Raglan

A great place to stay and not far from town. The unit we had worked well for 2 people. Small fridge and microwave, table and 2 chairs. Good sized bathroom with walk in shower. Lovely and clean and presented well. Bed was comfy and bedding was nice and warm. The bed is fitted into a tight space so only a small space each side of the bed. We didn’t find it difficult but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. No TV in any of the units but free wifi. Unfortunately it’s not very good reception. Parking is available outside the units but it is a tight space. We would definitely stay here again.
