Culinary highlight!

Yesterday we went out with the camper for a beautiful asparagus tour through the Vechtdal. The absolute highlight? The asparagus soup at De Gloepe!
With a festive decoration (specially arranged as a surprise), a bouncy castle for the children (who had plenty of fun) and an incredibly friendly service, this was the perfect start to a culinary exploration of many more beautiful dining addresses. Compliments for thinking along. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.

Great winter hideout

Stoped in at the last minute during a birding trip. The hotel has is separate from the restaurant and has big comfortable rooms with underfloor heating and a good shower
All was ckean and wifi good. Restaurant was quality all in all excellent.

Anniversary party.

Recently celebrated our 40th wedding party at the Gloepe.
First on the recommendation of the manager sat on the outdoor terrace (we found it with the weather). Then in the restaurant together with our guests enjoyed a walking dinner. The generously laid-out bowls looked so well cared for. It was also replenished neatly on time. It also tasted delicious. Service was friendly from reception to departure and also had extra attention for our young grandchildren. So as far as we are concerned, the Gloepe is highly recommended!
We look back on our party with satisfaction.

The friendliness was super

We have been there (20 men) for a golf tournament nearby, the welcome was more than friendly, rooms were fine, great dinner with delicious beer or wine, nice showers and at night wonderfully quiet.
In the morning a fine breakfast with all the trimmings, we will go there again next year.

Pleasant stay with minus

Nice restaurant and terrace: friendly service. Staff keep a close eye on everything. Come right when glass is empty.
We took room with upgrade for 25.00 per night. Same room but on quiet side. Earlier read that you had a view of Vechtdal however directly opposite terrace (small 2 meters) a wall of 2 1/2 meters high corn (but rural- no view). Think we were in the wrong weeks.
Nice breakfast served on the table. Day bite was very tasty. Dinner second day somewhat bland
