Cheap and charming Riad
Cheap and charming little Riad in the middle of Rabat Medina. The location is good as it is very close to the main street that goes down from the boulevard where the train station is located (and where for the bus coming from the airport) and goes into the medina, so if you arrive at night you do not have much loss.
The truth is that we liked it a lot, although, being housed in one of the rooms on the ground floor (with direct access from the patio), the feeling of intimacy is not full.
The site is fine with spacious and clean rooms and perfect and complete Moroccan breakfast. Maybe it would touch not to neglect much some maintenance detail.
To highlight the treatment of Mohamed, ready to help in any way requested.

Great location a stone's throw from the main road of the Medina, easy to find, convenient for locals but also to easily get out of the medina and go on the seafront or to the station.

Central place, very close to the Medina and Kasbah. riad clean and attention to detail. Ziad was very kind, managed to accommodate us on everything. Great experience to recommend and redo

Full of charm
Riad full of charm with a very courteous and helpful owner, perhaps it deserves to be renovated a little, also to give a greater feeling of cleanliness. Breakfast plentiful convenient location. Rabat surprised me positively

A riad managed in a debonair and irresponsible way is absolutely to be avoided
Run away! Our worst riad experience in Morocco. We spontaneously showed up without Reservation after consulting Booking.com indicating that one room was available for two nights. The caretaker, a young man who only wanted us to let him sleep, called his boss who agreed to rent us the room for two nights and offered us a slightly lower Award than that offered on Booking.com. The boss also assured us that he himself was blocking the Reservation on the Reservation Site.
In the evening, the boss informs us that there has been a bug on Booking, that the room is no longer available for both nights, and offers us to settle the next day in another riad of his acquaintance.
In the morning, the debonair guard had us pay for the night and simply kicked us out without telling us where the other riad was.
An address managed pitifully by a French property owner, little lover of the hotel.
You will easily find real professionals elsewhere in the area.

Je tenais tout d’abord à vous remercier pour votre visite et souhaitais une nouvelle fois m’excuser pour la gêne occasionnée lors de votre séjour au Riad El Bir.
Quelle drôle de manière de résumer votre expérience au sein de notre établissement! J’ai l’impression que nous n’avons pas du tout vécu ce moment de la même manière. Un bug est effectivement survenu sur le planning de réservation comme je vous l’ai expliqué le lendemain de votre première nuit.
Comme je vous l’ai également mentionné, responsables de cette situation, nous nous sommes engagés à vous proposer un autre Riad susceptible de vous intéresser. Nous avons de ce fait effectuer plusieurs recherches, contacter plusieurs Riads aux alentours que nous connaissions mais qui malheureusement ne proposaient pas de disponibilité.
Nous avons finalement trouver un Riad situé à deux minutes de marche du Riad El Bir, un établissement nouvellement ouvert, présentant de très bons commentaires sur Booking et dont le prix correspondait à vos attentes: tout était au vert pour vous, il ne vous restait plus qu’à vous rendre dans ce Riad (Yassine, la personne qui travaille au Riad vous a d’ailleurs proposé de vous accompagner, en vain….) Pour quelle raison, nous ne le savons toujours pas!
Cher Monsieur, nous nous sommes excusés à de nombreuses reprises pour la gêne occasionnée, nous avons fait tout notre possible pour vous trouver un Riad qui pouvait et devait correspondre à vos attentes et vous vous empresser, de votre côté, de poster un tel commentaire sur Trip Advisor…. Très franchement, je ne comprends pas votre attitude ou encore votre démarche et je ne comprends encore moins la finalité d’un tel commentaire qui ne reflète aucunement la réalité!
