It is close to as advertised. Nice staff and good beds and bathroom. Priced a little high, but it suited my needs well. Good location.

The location was great. It was easy to reach and conveniently located. The staff was wonderful, friendly and efficient. They provided an ample breakfast, served wherever we preferred to eat. Unfortunately, the room and especially the shower were smaller than expected, and there was a construction site just outside our window that often worked late into the night. Overall, it was a positive experience.

The room was nice and clean, with no dust or odour. The location is great with so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The third-floor rooms don't have a balcony, but it didn't bother me. If you need the room with a balcony, it's better to contact them ahead. The breakfast is nice and freshly made, it is served on the rooftop. If you advised them, they could bring it to your room.

Very nice
Fantastic ! The place is beautiful and peaceful, but what really makes it special is the staff. Staff were all so kind and welcoming .
I’ve stayed in many hotels and riads before, but Keltoum truly stands out. She’s one of those rare people who does her job from the heart , always smiling, caring, and genuinely helpful..she makes you feel like you’re at home.
Highly recommend this riad for anyone visiting Essaouira .. you’ll be in good hands there!

Terrifying experience! Never found such a dirty place!
Terrifying experience!
Upon arrival at the Riad the receptionist accompanied us to our room.
And the nightmare began.
The room - very unadorned, but that's not the problem - was unacceptable filth.
The sheets were stained, the windows had white streaks of encrusted dirt, the floor was dirty as well as ruined, the bathroom smelled like sewer and there were encrustations of unidentifiable dirt on the walls, in the room there was a sort of "sofa" without padding and the towel was full of stains, the bed frame was very dirty... It was full of flies. By mistake, the reservation included two adults and a one-year-old child, so they had put a cot in our room. When I saw it I thanked heaven that I don't have children... the crib (camping cot) was all torn and very dirty... I wouldn't even have put my shoes in it, anything other than a child!
Feeling discouraged, at first we thought about using a sheet bag to sleep since we wouldn't know where to go.
Soon after we decided to leave and look for new accommodation, but we discovered that the wi-fi wasn't working.
We mentioned it and they told us they were working to restore it.
We then went out thinking of using the wi-fi of a restaurant or club... but it seems there was a general blackout.
As soon as the wi-fi was restored (we were at lunch), we looked for other available facilities and - once we realized that there were some and we wouldn't end up in the middle of the street - we decided to return to the riad and cancel the booking. We first made sure to ask the platform through which we had booked if it was possible to cancel and they confirmed that yes, if the hotel had accepted, there would be no problems.
Not being able to find the way immediately, we asked a local boy for directions who very kindly accompanied us to the Riad.
HERE BEGINS THE END OF THE WORLD
The girl at the reception says that it is not possible to cancel because the platform does not allow it.
I would like to point out that they told me it is possible.
He then calls the owner who, as soon as he arrives, starts arguing, shouting with the boy who had accompanied us and raising his hands at him.
After that, first he tells us that we cannot cancel, then, once the booking platform intervenes, he agrees to cancel but only upon payment of the first night (we had booked two).
From the booking platform they ask him to postpone, but he doesn't listen to reason.
We agree to leave there, but they don't accept credit card payments!!!! Cash only.
We wander around the town, but the ATMs don't work.
At that point we ask to be able to pay by bank transfer, but they don't want to!
Exhausted I say that I'm leaving and that if they want they can send me the details for the bank transfer.
Then they chase me and take me to pay by credit card in a shop inside the market!!!
I pay and leave.
Two hours of vacation wasted!
