Excellent Value

Clean, well run, excellent value, great location in a beautiful city. What's not to like?
The gentleman who runs the hotel is a genuinely nice person. In my two weeks in Morocco this is my favorite hotel.

Style, not very comfy

Very nice interior in typical blue colour. Beautiful rooftop teracce,
Very nice majordomus.
Our room was in the main corridor and it interuped us from sleeping by lights on/off and voices from outside.
It was very cold inside :-( no radiators to borrow.
There was almost never hot water in the shower.

Disappointing stay

The room looked great. However, it was freezing cold, to the point we considered moving to another hotel. The owner/manager was lovely though and gave us a small space heater. The space heater and lots of blankets made it bearable. Chefchaouen is generally cold this time of year but would expect hotels to prepare for that.
Not helping the coldness problem was the lack of hot water in any of the bathrooms, apart from one sink on the first floor. The bathrooms also smelled awful and weren't particularly clean.
It would be good for a cheap one night stay if you don't mind not washing, but would not recommend it for more than that.
