Home from Home

I had a very relaxing time at beautiful Casa Perleta. It is a rustic and charming place to stay with a real homely feel. Thank you to the wonderful staff for their helpful tips - especially Yassin who gave me lots of local recommendations.

Sweet little riad

This is a delightful small riad that is pretty close to one of the gates into the medina. Important if you have luggage. Also there was parking available fairly nearby, if you have a car.
Like any riad there are a variety of rooms, but the bathrooms were spotless and the shower area was large enough for two. The HVAC worked well. Breakfast was ample and the staff went well above and beyond. (THANK YOU YASSIM!!) It's an easy walk to the main square, and I loved the Kasbah Museum and garden. There's also a hammam nearby. The staff washed and dried our clothes for an extremely reasonable fee. The staff told us to use the kitchen as if it was ours. It was close to our room and it was nice to have a kettle.

Okay-ish

Mixed feelings. I had to repair the showerhead myself. Little room for luggage. Staff could be more attentive. Since the breakfast room was overcrowded and not prepared for so many guests we decided to take our breakfast outdoors. Hard mattress. Positive notes are the proximity to the gate and inyeresting design of the riad.

Super Disappointing

This place was disappointing. The front desk staff was NOT friendly, just disengaged. The breakfast staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was not good. Small and the bathroom was awful. There is a window which can be seen into the bathroom, no cover or nothing from the hallway of the stay. Rooftop patio is decent but confusing to get to. Breakfast was OK. The shower had no hot water for us and the handheld barely stayed on the wall. No toiletries provided.
