Feeling pampered
I stayed 2 nights, very comfortable on foot, you can move in just a few minutes arriving at the Roman theatre. The kindness, the delicious breakfast was like being at home. They booked us an excursion to 2 desert castles at an excellent price. What's more, you have to try it to believe it. Thank you Thank you

Theft! Otherwise it was okay
Maybe I would have given the property 4 stars if it hadn't been for the last morning incident.
While we were having breakfast, someone broke into our room via the patio door. The floor was dirty, the luggage ransacked, the patio door was not completely closed. There was money missing, but not so much that we would have noticed immediately, only when we had counted it calmly. All the other valuables were still there. They say the cameras hanging outside didn't record anything. Since this is at least the second case of a break-in or stranger entering the room at this hotel (see other review from 2023), the hotel seems to have a problem with thieves - I would avoid the hotel for this reason!!! Since we initially thought nothing had disappeared, we did not call the police. In retrospect, I know that this was a mistake!
Because we were robbed, I can no longer say that the price-performance ratio was good.
The room was just so acceptable to us. Cleanliness was not really given. I wouldn't walk barefoot on the carpet, I'd only walk with bath shoes on. In the shower, you have to be careful not to burn yourself.
The staff tried to impose an overpriced tour on us, which we refused.
In my opinion, the property is looking for ways to get money back from guests through it and other ways and thereby offset the favorable overnight price.
All in all, the stay due to the theft remains poorly remembered.

Great location!
The hotel has two super positive sides: the location and the friendliness of the managers.
Its location is strategic, you can reach the city center on foot and it is right behind the Roman amphitheatre. The managers are kind and helpful.
The negative sides to underline are the concept of cleanliness which is very different from what is expected in a hotel destined to receive tourists from all over the world (I attach photos)
Traces of old toothpaste, mould, limescale, fur and hair, rubbish bin from previous guests, in short, we could have done better.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning but are small and facing the street are also subject to city noise.
To immerse yourself in the typicality of the old Hamman it is more than fine, but it would be enough to clean it up a little more.
If you choose this hotel I recommend you bring a sheet to sleep in.

10/10 for service
This is not a fancy hotel. But what it does have is fantastic service. Our room was small but the bed was comfy. The pillow was a bit lumpy. The breakfast was good and simple - Middle Eastern style. There was free internet and unlimited lemon juice, tea and coffee available. Bottled cold water was very reasonably priced. Best of all was Fatih's kind offer to allow me the use of a room to shower in after we'd checked out before we went to the airport at 10pm. It was a lifesaver after a long day visiting the sights and before a 24 hour flight home to Australia. Shukran!!

Great location, great deal!
This is definitely the best hotel for a budget traveller in downtown Amman.
It is located behind the Roman Amphitheater, close to everything and you see the Citadel from that spot when looking up.
The owner Wael Sahih is present in the hotel and is THE selfmade tourist leader in the area, knowledgable about the whole of Jordan! A very interesting, kind man for who no question of yours is too complex. Solutions come by easily, his friendliness is catchy.
But wait until you meet his fabulous team: the amazing Fatima, Abdullah and Fathi, the drivers he hires for you: each one of them a person you will not forget. They stand out for their excellent teamwork together with you as well.
You will feel at home in this family home. You can use the kitchen if you want, nothing is ever too complicated here. You come as a hotel guest, you will leave as a friend as I do.
