If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay, then i highly recommend Cogo Tennoji Hostel. It is in a ideal place, close to many shopping malls and only a 20 minute train ride to Dotonbori. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Whwn i cone back to Osake, this is the only place that i will be staying at.

Osaka stay in tradition Japanese room on futon

Freshly decorated, booked private room with traditional sleep on floor and Japanese futon mattresses. Clean and neat as used to be on Japan . Located in crossroad of busy street what could be challenge for people looking for night calm. Walking distance to Tennoji station, with trains metro great choice for shopping and eating in neighbouring shopping malls. Big common room, available kitchen to prepare own food

Good location, good service. The only thing is the WiFi in the room, very slow and unconnected often. The WiFi on the first floor also the public space is okay.
