Offering free WiFi and sea views, Blu Suite is an accommodation set in the heart of Venice, just 600 metres from Basilica San Marco and 600 metres from Doge's Palace.

Very good location.
Difficult to find the first time, with little information on-site, at the front. You need to go up to the second floor (my photos can help you find it more easily).
Otherwise, it is a good location, 10 minutes on foot from the nearest Vaporetto+Alilaguna stop (Ospedale).
10 minutes from St. Mark's Square.
However, at first glance, the place seems quite austere; the building's lobby contains garbage bags and construction debris.
The room is acceptable. Not soundproofed against the outside or the common areas.
No shutters, just thin curtains, so if you need total darkness to sleep, you should forget it.
Bedding is okay.
Be careful, there are many mosquitoes in the room (occupied in April), hence the provision of an electric insecticide.
The bath towels are changed every day, but the beds are not made.
Bathroom with toilet.
No safe.
The room overlooks the canal, not a sea view as indicated on some rental sites.
Bring cash for the payment of the tourist tax (no credit card).

More of an air BnB rather than apartment
There is many positives to this trip but did have some negatives alongside.
Positives;
• Good location
• Clean room with a comfy bed!
• A/C that works
• View over the canal from the bedroom
• Towels are clean and soft
• Staff friendly and helpful
Some negatives that I feel are worth mentioning:
• Separate bathroom away from the bedroom down the hall
• Bathroom smells off food from the restaurants down below (needs a strong air freshener)
• Rooms could do with a change of decor to make it stand out more and add more character
• Needs lighting at the entrance/stairs
• Needs a sign outside the place and at the door - it’s really not easy to find.
• There is no lift and it is up two flights of stairs
• Hairdryer not powerful but a thoughtful add
• Bathroom shower cubicle needs to be updated - shower head a bit grimy.
Also a wee tip - don’t leave your windows open at night, we did for a bit and we got bitten by mosquitoes

AMAZING!
What an amazing room! The place is big, comfy and great for the two of us. The staff was super friendly and really made us feel at home. It was so hard to leave this place, I'm telling you.
Next time I'm in Venice, I will book this place in a heartbeat.

Decent place
Excellent place; well maintained- close to nice restaurants which are not too expensive
Clean and hygienic

Beautiful in the Heart of Venice
We have just finished a simply stunning visit to Venice to renew our wedding vows.
The chose Blu Suites as it is ideally located in Venice itself on the canal and very close to St Marks Square
The room was perfect has everything you need and a private bathroom for use by our room only.
Very clean and Staff are absolutely brilliant even arranging Snacks and a Bottle of wine to help us celebrate.
Restaurants are a plenty in Venice but if you don't want to wander two far there are two Restaurants that a well priced with good food and service right below your window if you book here.
I would definitely return here and would highly recommend.
